    Melissa Buchanan Owner

    Melissa Buchanan owns and operates Studio B Fitness & Wellness, PLLC. She is an AFAA-certified (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) fitness instructor and personal trainer, Beachbody coach and has a degree in Therapeutic Massage/Integrated Health Care. Melissa has worked in the health, fitness and wellness field for the past 13 years. She loves to help people of all abilities to be healthy and strong. Her motto is “Life is complicated enough, fitness doesn’t have to be!” A Canandaigua native, Melissa is married and mother of two young boys.  She loves spending time with her family and on a paddle board in the lake.

  • Kelly Davis
    Kelly Davis Instructor

    Kelly is a certified PiYo instructor. Her interest in fitness increased after college when she saw firsthand the unwelcome effects of a sedentary lifestyle! Kelly’s fitness interests now include running, triathlon, hiking, standup paddle boarding, and yoga. She finds PiYo to be the perfect complement to these types of activities or as a stand-alone program well-suited for any fitness level. Kelly is constantly impressed by the incredible abilities of the human body and gently encourages her clients to push their limits.

  • Nancy McCarthy
    Nancy McCarthy Instructor

    Nancy McCarthy, an AFAA-certified (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) fitness instructor for eighteen years, teaches Be Strong at the Barre and Retro-Fit at Studio B. She welcomes all ability levels, creating a non-competitive atmosphere while emphasizing fun, safety and functional fitness. Nancy, also a professional writer, community volunteer and dog lover, lives in Canandaigua with her family.

  • Eric Miller
    Eric Miller Instructor

    Eric, a former physical education teacher and college-level coach, has a master’s degree in Education, a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certification and is a member of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD). Eric teaches early morning Boot Camp classes at Studio B. He promotes healthy lifestyles—not diets or quick fixes–and loves to celebrate client successes. A loyal Buffalo Bills fan and an avid outdoorsman, Eric competes in triathlons and trains with his sons for Tough Mudder competitions.
